I bought this for my 5 year old for Christmas last year. It's kind of insulting how the Lego Friends mini figs feel like so much worse quality than the regular ones.

How so? Being the minidolls are more expensive than the minifigures.

The fact that for the first 10 years there weren't as many minidolls in sets as minifigures.
The fact they are more expensive on Bricks and Pieces or Pick a Brick or whatever they are called.
