I have the 85" q90a and it's really good. No regrets going with this vs an oled and I've owned both

For reference I purchase last years model QN90A 85" from EPP in April 2022 $1908 plus the 10% cancel trick "look it up" after refund it was right around $1700 that would be my price mark if you are not in a rush. Worth noting the economy is tanking and large ticket items will continue to drop as demand drops. Just a thought

Also got the 75" version using the same as above for $1398

I need a 75 inch "something" to replace my 65 inch LG C9 currently in my living room. Brightness has really never been an issue (no opposing windows) but I have the space for 75" so why not. I've been waiting and hoping I to find a deal on a 77" C2 or wait for the release of the 77" S95B... I've seen several good deals at 65"... but I'm starting to wonder if something like this would be just as good if not better.

Alright, kinda weird ask........ but if somebody with a corpo discount is on the site already can you please look up what the price on the 55" QN90B is on sale. Pretty sure the whole line is on sale and not sure why OP only listed one size's price.

My wife is the one with access to the discount but it's like pulling teeth getting her to sign into her account and check for me. So yes I'm basically trying to get you to do this instead of my wife, whoever you are. Thanks. Wink

I also own a LG CX and C1 OLED. The biggest different I notice is NO Dolby Vision and the black are much inkier with the OLED's. The QN90N do have very good black levels and I think most people will be very happy with the QN90 series, if gaming is a must the OLED's have all (4) 2.1 HDMI ports and the Samsung's do have some issues with HDMI 2.1 that I have not seen with my OLED's specifically with 120fps gaming.

I am seeing $1214.99 for the 55" but as a Note the 65" is showing 1274.99 so that to me is a no brainer unless you cannot fit the 65"

Not really. The 65" is becoming somewhat irrelevant in the LCD space. I just got the S95B 65" QD-OLED for under 1500 shipped with EPP discount a few days ago.
Another thing to keep in mind is that it's much easier to resell an 85" set, as almost everyone wants bigger. Much less supply in the used market on 85" sets.

I agree to a point, just stating this based on the QN90B. The QD-OLED for $1500 is most def a much better set for the $225 cost difference. You also kind of answered you statement 85" is easier to sell, agree. But the next sentence you also state you cannot find many 85" used for a decent price. So that's the chicken or the Egg statement.

Just looked up the IMO better QD-OLED 65" through EPP and that is S95B $1399 for 65" and 55" is $1119.00. If it where me, I would grab the 65" OD-OLED over. the QN90B 65" @ $1275.99. Only down fall of OLES is potential burn in, but I own 2 LG's and have not seen any at all, so I think it's a non-issue for most people watching TV/Movie and Medium gaming.

I already did. For 100 more it's a no brainer. Pondering over whether I should keep the 65" S95B or 85" QN90B. One is going back for sure. The size immersion is tempting, plus it'll be in my living room.
Most likely stick with the 85". The OLED is first generation tech, and I can only see bigger screens being released in near future. I don't want to be an early adopter at this point in time.

At some point, we're talking about marginal differences in quality that won't even be noticable in a lot of content. E.g. when I'm watching King of Queens before bed, the superior OLED quality is competely lost on me as the picture looks no different than that on my 5 year old Samsung LCD. I'd go big!

Which is better for 75" QN90B
Purchase from costco with citi having 5 years extended coverage @2599?
Purchase from Samsung with Samsung care+ having 4 years coverage @2449?
Or don't care about it now as we are getting close to Black Friday

This deal at $1950 and use a decent credit card that doubles the warranty. Keep your $650 (+ tax) savings and invest it to self-insure any future repairs. Do that for all your electronics, cars, and everything where you could afford to fund the loss.

I bought the 85" from Samsung a couple weeks ago for about $100 more. The TV is scheduled for delivery later this week. Does anyone have experience trying to get Samsung to pricemach their own prices in a situation like this?

I got mine from Samsung delivered yesterday. Paid $2,351.24 and now it is $2,249.99. Wonder if they will do a price adjustment.
