I have the 85" q90a and it's really good. No regrets going with this vs an oled and I've owned both

I got mine from Samsung delivered yesterday. Paid $2,351.24 and now it is $2,249.99. Wonder if they will do a price adjustment.
Yes, they will price match for 15 days after the product is delivered.

Cannot imagine which students have the money to spend this much on TV. When I was a student, I had to work 2 part time jobs to survive

Which is better for 75" QN90B
Purchase from costco with citi having 5 years extended coverage @2599?
Purchase from Samsung with Samsung care+ having 4 years coverage @2449?
Or don't care about it now as we are getting close to Black Friday
BF will continue to be the big anti-climax it has been for years. The best prices between now and next year are now.

So how many comments about OLED? How many questions about black levels? Brightness? Burn-in? Size matters?

As someone who bought a 65" from the EPP a few months ago I would recommend buying from literally anywhere else. First TV was shattered took months for replacement. It was a good deal but I'll go to Costco next time

I love this TV but conflicted between this and the Sony 90K. I really like the Google TV and Dolby Vision but this is a great deal

How do the new Mini LEDs perform?

These obviously get far brighter than OLEDs but how are the blacks?
It's very easy to understand technology, Oled has controlled lighting with each individual pixel that lights up , while the mini led is lit by tones from a backlight.

Advantage to mini led is superior brightness, Advantage to Oled is finer detail, more accurate and infinite contrast as each pixel controls the light.

Downside to Oled is not as bright , Downside to LCD (mini led) is lifted blacks or crushed which causes shadow detail loss and much less depth to image contrast as the technology cannot simply get dark/bright enough per pixel as it's an actual back light that's shining through.

Case in point, a Mini LED will be overall brighter, but an Oled will 100% have all the smaller fine detail and highlights much brighter because of the accuracy the technology provides.

With all that said, QN90B is an excellent tv and one of the best non Oled displays to date.

*I own a couple Oleds and even an 8K Samsung tv mini led, they trade blows in different content and there is no clear winner overall

I need a 75 inch "something" to replace my 65 inch LG C9 currently in my living room. Brightness has really never been an issue (no opposing windows) but I have the space for 75" so why not. I've been waiting and hoping I to find a deal on a 77" C2 or wait for the release of the 77" S95B... I've seen several good deals at 65"... but I'm starting to wonder if something like this would be just as good if not better.
Stay with Oled, this Samsung is good, but you will severely miss the infinite contrast and lack of Dolby Vision if that's something you currently use.

77" C1 is a superior tv if you're into gaming, if strictly movie/streaming then look for 77" A80J.

Hisense are good value but they don't beat Samsung in quality.

For reference I purchase last years model QN90A 85" from EPP in April 2022 $1908 plus the 10% cancel trick "look it up" after refund it was right around $1700 that would be my price mark if you are not in a rush. Worth noting the economy is tanking and large ticket items will continue to drop as demand drops. Just a thought

Also got the 75" version using the same as above for $1398
What is 10% cancel trick? Please elaborate.
EDIT: Nevermind. Found it. Does 10% trick work before we get the item delivered?

@hidefguy I'm looking to buy 65 inch version. I see prices have dropped significantly compared to past. Should I wait for better price or shall I pull the plug?
