Slickdealer's opinion: Looking at the Fire TV Cube for lightning deal at $60 right now. I have one of the OG Fire TV's in my living room as my primary box and love the built-in ethernet since it is wired however it seems to be struggling lately to keep up with the pure amount of crap Amazon throws at it (ads) as well as higher-res content even though it is supposed to support 4K. It also has the older remote.

So anybody have an over/under about buying this for 20% off with trading in a surplus OG fire stick not being used to get the 20% off making the cost of this @ $48 plus tax. Will I see significant performance with this over my OG Fire TV? Or should I wait for a deal on the new one (the old one is annoying me, but not totally crippled).

Would anyone recommend this? Or is this not really worth it? Just trying to gage interest and whether or not it's a worthy investment. Thanks in advance!

Can you explain how this works? What app to use for emulator and then how do you actually download the Roms?
Google and YouTube have many videos. It was easy, worked fine. I don't understand why Amazon won't let it come stock that way. It would appeal to many more people

They lose money on the sale of hardware and make it up in the software. Giving you a fresh regular android install is selling at a loss for no reason.

Can someone pls recommend a good battery operated doorbell device which captures a brief video of any movement in front of door whether the bell is pressed or not, uploads to the cloud for a week long storage and send a notification to the phone. Allows to see and on live video who it is if we so choose at the moment. Don't want to deal w any wiring just a simple paste outside the door connect to wifi good to go kinda device

I have blink cameras and amazons subscription storage right now so if its blink solution that would probably be the best fit but also know amazon ring and google nest offer something like this

personally, I hate, and really hate the google home app, in general, it's more like a kindergartener's app, with not much customization (the wireless version) or other functions. i haven't tried the ring but I have the blink doorbell like you. I think blink is okay for the price but the app for it is very buggy as well ( having inconsistent errors with amazon echo devices, it works for now but it is still very buggy). Blink pisses me off since it only rings on your phone or echo device for now - I don't believe it has the doorbell chime built in for the inside of the house (please correct/ guide me if i'm wrong on this)

Were you able to apply the 20% off trade-in in addition to the current discount? So for you it was $105 minus $21 minus $20 credit = $64 total?
