I bought these cameras July prime day. They come with sync module. You can use USB flash drive. No subscription required.

- You can view/delete clips from Blink app. You can also do settings for sensitivity, video quality, clip length and lot more via Blink app.

- I advise you to use Flash Drive which is USB 3.0 and above. USB 2.0 is slow.

- Night time clips are black and white until you have lights turned on. (Use motion enabled floodlight as add on if you want colored night time clips)

- Using it from last 3 months. Still running without battery change and it seems it will work for at least another year without battery change.

"Night time" or dark clips are literally always black and white. That's what IR does, it shines a light outside the visible light spectrum allowing it to pick up the reflection in total darkness.

There is no "color" night vision without some form of visible light.

This kit includes the sync module. I didn't need that many cameras so I ordered the 2 pack and an 8" show since everything is on sale. Thank you OP. I do not think the subscription is required for local storage but I would research the FAQs.

You can trade in one blink XT & get $10 GC + 20% off this deal (net $48); I don't even know why I did it my 5 blink XT work fine.

I'm still not sure whether these Outdoors will work on the standard blink account; seems they'll work with sync 1 module but will trigger amazon to renege on grandfathered blink cloud accts remains to be seen.

Have these and they work great. They do not continuously record so if you're looking for that these aren't it. They only record when they sense motion.
