Is this the type of offer that needs to be purchased through the Amex link?

There are some wine offers that do not work if they are purchased through a cb portal rather than the Amex specific link.

have you got the email confirmation of using the offer?

some of those wine offers are very sketchy, and end up not earning any credit.

for people want to get CB on the other site:
"Offer valid online via US website at laithwaites.com/amex."

Its possible you will be denial for the $40 offers.

I have used Laithwaites and I have found their wine to be pretty good. I've only gotten reds and I haven't had any that I didn't enjoy. I usually drink wines between 15-30$ and these certainly fall in quality of that range. I got one of their more expensive wines (or so they said) and it was really delicious. I've ordered from them 3 times and I just used the offer today. It probably could stack with new member deal. Definitely worth trying!
