Since the promotion is until Oct 30, I might wait for release of Pixel 7 to see any Fi deal that could go with the Pixel 7

Be sure not to uninstall the GoogleFI app. If you do it disables the promo. Upon reinstall of the app it now says i have "Changed Devices" and now not eligible. (The app was acting up so reinstalled it which was a bad idea). Had 3 live chats so far that haven't gone anywhere.

Ordered Google Voice number on additional account, then tested that number on signup page for S22 and Guides offer, said phone # was accepted. There is a $3.00 unlock for taking the GV # with you. We will see.

So we still don't know if port in is required in the end, right? Yes, signing up with a new number is possible, but the T&C states that port in IS required. And I suppose nobody can confirm whether Google will enforce port in within a given period, otherwise start charging the lines (or deactivate)?

"You must remain on the Fi Simply Unlimited or Unlimited Plus Plan and not leave your account or switch to a different account to receive the entirety of the three month credit."

This condition might mean for some that do not want to continue, that you end up paying for the fourth month, as I assume being on this plan for even one day in the fourth month would mean they would charge you for a whole month. You would have to time the move back to another carrier very carefully. Can you even know that a switch back can be done on the exact day to avoid paying for a month?

From my experience when I ported out last time the last month was prorated. That was more than 1 year ago not sure if anything has changed.

I had Fi before, I ported out in August
After receiving this promotion in email, I ported in to Google Fi in September.
Today I got a bill for 65+ taxes. Now they are saying for my line its not free, if I add additional lines, it will be free for additional lines, but still i need to pay for my line.

Didn't get anything as a Level 7. Over the past few years I can only remember once where they sent me an offer, think it was a Google One subscription but I don't know for sure.
