Since the promotion is until Oct 30, I might wait for release of Pixel 7 to see any Fi deal that could go with the Pixel 7

Be sure not to uninstall the GoogleFI app. If you do it disables the promo. Upon reinstall of the app it now says i have "Changed Devices" and now not eligible. (The app was acting up so reinstalled it which was a bad idea). Had 3 live chats so far that haven't gone anywhere.

I did this yesterday. There's some confusion to whether you can port in an existing number from Google Voice or not. Happy to report I ported in my number from Google Voice with no issue.

Also, the google Fi app says it'll take about 15 minutes. It worked but for me it took about 2-3 hours.
