for those of you wondering what the difference is between all these headsets:
7X = 24 hour battery life and Micro USB
7X+ = 30 hour battery life and USB-C Charging allows 15 minute quick charge for 3 hour usage.
Nova 7X = 38 hour battery life, Bluetooth, USB-C Charging allows 15 minute quick charge for 6 hour usage, lighter, better app, sound and comfort than the 7X+, however the 7X has a better build quality.
I recommend 7X unless you want the upgrades from the Nova 7X. the 7X+ is like the middle child here that doesn't offer much when compared to saving $16.80 with the 7X or getting more upgrades with the Nova 7x for only $8.80 more than that 7X+.
This is the #1 series of headsets for multiplatform compatibility. Works on PC, Switch, Xbox Series/One, PS5/PS4, Mobile, etc...
Looks to be a site wide code. Works on Steelseries Nova Pro Wireless as well (I tried on the XBox one). Brings the price down to $308 (down from $350). Of course that's not the lowest price ever for that headset. It was on sale for $300 for quite a few weeks on Amazon (couple of months ago).
Nevertheless, good price if someone wants one right away.
I've been using the 7X for about a year and a half now, I forget what I paid for them but:
-Daily usage for work and watching videos, gaming, Zoom meetings, etc...
-Not exactly nice to them, I throw them in my work bag to go to the office. Nothing broken yet. The retractable microphone is smart.
-I can wear them all day with no fatigue
-Minus the strap being flashy, they look nice and don't have the ugly "gamer" aesthetic
They still last for a full day, and well into the next if I forget to charge them. Sound is really decent, and mic quality is great. Range is solid, I can walk several rooms away and usually maintain a Discord call. I really like them.
Things I do not like:
-Micro-USB. Not sure why ANY company is still using this. Worth the extra 7X+ dollars for USB-C by itself. I have to use Micro to C adapters and they break all the time.
-Wireless dongle is a bit awkward for people who travel with these. It needs to be on the extension cable and away from your PC or the electronic interference will reduce the range to bluetooth levels.
-Sensitive to where it's placed, if I place the receiver so that something metal gets between it and my headset, range is cut considerably - but it's still pretty far.

yes i just added the Nova 7X since it makes it only $8.80 more than the 7X+ for even more upgrades such as bluetooth.
i hope the newer headsets are better with simultaneous bluetooth. when i use the 9x on xbox and have bluetooth on discord, one or the other cuts out periodically and i have to restart the headset and reconnect in the middle of a game.
glad they added discord voice on xbox which should solve this problem, but haven't tried it yet.

i actually commented to The Techne about comparing all 3 and maybe even the 9X too since there is no comparison videos on Youtube. hopefully he does but the safe pick between all 4 is the tried and tested 7X.
Looking to replace my Logitech g533s as they are starting to fall apart. Any feedback on a set with Bluetooth capabilities?
yes if you don't need an Xbox headset and your okay with refurbished i just posted this deal for $53.96 (new is almost double the price) works on everything but Xbox:

I'm hoping so too. I was thinking about getting the 9x because it's $160 on Amazon right now but I went with the Nova 7x because several reviews say they are very similar but the Nova 7x has less pairing issues and almost double the battery life.

I love my pro wireless, despite some oddities.
The headset can connect to the DAC (?) for the PC/ console connection, and a Bluetooth device at the same time. But Bluetooth on a cellphone has an absolutely infuriating glitch where the volume keeps flashing back and forth from both devices. Haven't heard of that has been fixed.
But the sound is AMAZING, and having enough batteries to never run out of power is game changing.

Worth the price as it is.
