I bought two. One had no issues with the battery (at least not that I can see) the other one was completely dead and sparks when I plug it in to the charger. I also tried calling their customer service but they're only open M-F 8-5pm

I had the same issue with the battery; just keep it plugged in for a while and it will start charging!

Has anyone tried this mod? Or any other way of adding a throttle switch.

I'm interested in doing this as well

i had the same original issues...keep it plugged in (cable from wall charger to battery first, then plug it into an outlet to prevent sparks) and the LED light will turn red and start charging, after several hours it turned green and I checked the battery levels by pressing the battery level button directly on it and it lit up to 100%

This sounds interesting 🤔. Can you share more info please?!
super easy to do...the controller is in the front part of the battery holder and can be accessed by a screwdriver by removing the two screws underneath holding that part of the housing...

there's a capped cable with black, red, and green/white (3 wire) cable that is what you'd plug the three wire thumb throttle or any other throttle into...

process is the same, you'd push the 'green' button to engage the pedal assist but now you can use the thumb throttle for instant response and control it from there without having to pedal and wait for pedal assist and the motor to kick in

Got bike this afternoon. Initial battery capacity indicator at 50%(first green led lit). Charging passing through killer a watt type device showing initial charging power consumption at 94watt. back fender bent a little.

When charger light turned to green, battery pack voltage is 37 volt and charger power consumption showing 10 watt(still charging but at much lower current). Hooked throttle with voltage readout and switch (in place of bike's switch), throttle voltage read out as 41.3 volt matches with DMM readout.

When turn up throttle, rear wheel RPM ranks up, but also makes a big cracking noise and free wheel top moves left and right couple mm relative to the frame. do not know any one's new bike has similar issue?

Got 2 of these delivered today. I am not remotely an expert on bicycles.

Neither had any charge on its battery.

On both of them, the rear of the storage rack was bent down. On one, it is only slightly bent, with a small bit of paint missing. On the other, it is bent more and now blocks the battery from being removed. Ugh.

Also the rear fenders are kinked a bit at the same spot on both bikes, I don't think it is damage but actually shoddy design.

They ride ok without power, shift ok, brakes work but could use adjusting. Tires came flat but seem to be holding air so far. I will have to play around with them some more.

On the battery I can remove, the English language sticker and French language sticker seem to have different values for the battery's capacity (French language has higher Ah and Wh values). Not sure what to make of that.

I have them on their chargers, light on charging transformers is red and they are warm, seems to be doing something. Time will tell.

I have one of these throttles to try out but haven't installed it yet...

Both of them came with a cute little bell to ding with your left hand thumb.

I got the same throttle with voltage display which is helpful to know battery remaining capacity. The controller's label showing its low voltage cut off is 29+/-1volt. Planning to take off grib and shifter to replace the switch with this throttle.

For my two oslos, tilted bike on its stand and hand pedaling to ramp up rear wheel then stop to hear free wheel clicking noise. Besides clicking there are chunk noise like axle running against bearing w/o lubricant. Whole noise is much louder than the other bikes in house. Do not know if lubricate the rear axle bearing is going to make the fix. Also noticed the free wheel top wobbling from left to right between wheel and frame vs no free wheel wobbling on other bikes.

So both of my two appear all charged up, but sadly one is not working. On its maiden voyage, the pedal assist kicked in for just a few seconds and then gave out, and hasn't come back. Battery shows full charge. Not sure what I'll do.

The other one is working pretty well and is fun. Saddle gets uncomfortable quickly but I have a big cushy one I will put on.

I've attached pics of the severely bent rear part of the rack, which prevents battery removal. Ironically, this is the working bike.

Compared Oslo with Miclon Cybertrack100, the gap between PAS sensor to crank cog, first one is about 5mm vs later one 2mm. Could be wider gap of Oslo be the cause? you might try to pull PAS sensor towards crank cog to see if reduced gap could work?

For battery pack with different capacity in English vs French, guess Huffy makes different battery pack for NA and EU market. Same 18650 battery in 3p10s, NA has 2600mAh while EU might have 3450mAh/3500mAh

"There are just too many drawbacks to totally recommend this bike. The small storage footprint was awesome but the awkward carry you have to do to get it upstairs is not ideal. And the biggest let down was that cadence sensor and motor. The bike just didn't end up being a comfortable ride enough of the time. Try looking into the Lectric XP 2.0 or the RadMini for similarly priced e-bikes. Neither are as light and compact but much more versatile with their feature sets. "
NOT FOR ME!
Dudes review the bike at mark, if he was review a 300$ one his tune would change.

Has anyone done a return at Kohl's for something like this? Still good for 180 days?
