According to a famous YouTube channel for tech, this is a God-tier AMD gaming laptop.

also YMMV, some AMEX cards will have $120 back on a $599 purchase at Dell.

Ive got this, paid 2300ish for it. It's pretty damn good. I've had 6 alienware laptops over the years and it's among the top 2. At this price it's tough to beat for performance and quality.

My aw laptop motherboard fried, they sent a technician to my house the same week to replace the board and the cpu. All covered under warranty. The cs is great, can't say the same for others.

17" gaming laptops are monsters - in both good and bad ways. Unless your lifestyle is one where you're constantly living out of a long-term hotel, or living between various semi-permanent homes, these monster laptops probably doesn't make sense ~ even then, it probably still doesn't.

I had a 17" Alienware a few years back, traveling between two major cities every 5 or so days. I thought being young, I would just be like - ha, a little weight won't bother me! But lugging this monster got old super fast. It's super cumbersome to use on the go ~ don't even think about tray tables on trains or planes; on a train, I would hog up 70% of the table island meant for 4 people with just the laptop.

Just a warning. Don't buy this thinking it's a laptop. It's more like a desktop that is easier to move occasionally.

Cool specs but some super slow ram. Isn't 4800 the lowest for ddr5?

A couple college textbooks could easily eclipse that weight.
