Price shows as $120 after the discount, not $100.

I did read the description. Perhaps the OP meant the price is in store only?
If you read the description then why the question? The OP says online price is $120, Warehouse price is $100.

"Costco Warehouse has DEWALT 24" Heavy Duty Drum Fan on sale for $99.99 after $50 discount now thru 10/10. Online price is $119.99 after discount w/ Free Shipping. Limit 5 per member."

I thought maybe they edited after your post, but their last edit was before your post.

+1 for have one/like it (got it at the $100 last time)

Not sure what "weak" means. Fans list CFM: the amount of airflow generated. Noise generated is a minimum amount of CFM/Throughput Area. Poor design can make a fan noisier, but commonly fans stick to a design that doesn't deviate that much

I bought (at $99) and returned two of these fans because they simply didn't push enough air in a way that I found satisfying or acceptable for a drum fan of this size.

They push a ring of air rather than a slug of air, so for my purposes in hot and humid south Florida, I couldn't justify keeping them. I mainly use fans to blow air over me and my work area when working outside in the carport. I have much smaller fans that seem to put out an equivalent cooling breeze, but with more noise, because they're smaller and higher rpm.

Beautiful fans though and probably great for others with different expectations.

Oh, and I also have a couple of 42" drum fans that do put out a solid slug of air, rather than a ring, so perhaps I was expecting something similar with this DeWalt fan.

This fan and others like it are great for evacuating or circulating air.

As it's primary function is to move air, not direct air in any specific direction, it wouldn't be effective to cool off a specific area.

If you add ducting and attach it to a wall or frame, you can use it as a whole house fan or to test a space for air leaks.

I don't have experience with this fan, but I plan on getting one for future use.

I have seen this at $100 on and off all year from different stores, some at $99.97 and others at $100.00, then going back to regular $XX.99 pricing. Not sure why they keep changing the price on this non-perishable item.

So people are saying this is large for the CFM.

So what are people buying that is better? Both in the CFM and in the decibels of sound?
