I can help you decide using the old SD rule of thumb.

If you are questioning if you need this instead of pulling the trigger...you don't need this and you should pass.

When does this sale expire? Makes me wonder given their 30 day return policy (restocking fee too) if they'll stop this sale before Oct 24....so they can mark it (or similar) down for BF and not have to deal with returns.

These are meant to be essentially a desktop replacement with some portability in mind, it's a huge 17" laptop Smilie But from all accounts, 9 hours of battery life for 720p streaming is totally usable if you wanted to bring this down to the pool or something. I have other laptops I use for bringing with, I just didn't want to build a full tower for my limited space I have in my office.

I mean it has both USB-C w/ Display Port, and HDMI 2.1 ports, so you're pretty well covered for external displays. I bought one yesterday, just waiting for it to ship; supposed to be at my door Oct 27th.

After sales tax it came out to a little over $1800...so I stacked the AMEX $120 statement for any purchase over $599 3 times across 3 different cards. So I got one for under $1500 all in. Also found a cash back site that offered 4% to sweeten the deal 😁

Can't wait to get this!!

Looks like it's dead. I ordered this a couple days ago. Coupons are no longer being accepted if I try to go through the same process that worked then.
