GameStop seems to have a pricing error on these - normally $349.99 everywhere else. I just ordered some and got a confirmation, so fingers crossed it stays! I also think it could be a unit posting error as the "features" section highlights a gaming mouse. Haha. Unsure, but will return and report.
I have been going back and forth if I should buy a new headset or not... I feel like my old ones live up to like ~95% of the hype of the newer ones I have tried. But I saw on rtings that these are voted best of year so far and I was looking for them last week. Went to finally pull the trigger this week and saw the $100 off at GameStonkz today.
Got it for $262.51 after tax.

That said, I had a ton of bugs on mine. Once when on Playstation the volume switched to 100% white noise till I restarted the headset. Randomly but often enough audio became severely distorted/gitchy but many I asked said they never had any issues though. That said, Steelseries support was awful and wouldn't approve an RMA unless I provided them with audio proof of the glitches happen even though I told them it was random.

Ugh on your experience. I've also read that a lot of people feel the earpiece on this model has a part that sticks out and hits your ear awkwardly which was deterring me last week. I've also tried a few previous deals and I just feel like either mic quality, can't hear footsteps as much as I'd hoped, etc.
My previous ones (some 5+ year old, cheap Turtle Beaches) are almost just as good and won't put me out ~150-350! But if I can get my hands on something that makes footsteps louder or an immersive experience, I'm all for it. Any suggestions on ones you like/currently use?

My old 2016 Turtle Beaches that were like ~25 bucks 3rd party sale sound amazing playing single player games. I always just played on TV sound, but even my cheap headphones made it awesome-r. So I imagine most wireless headsets will sound pretty great for you and you won't NEED the $250 ones. I am getting these ones more for competitive Warzone/Apex footsteps hearing and things like that and want whatever will give me the most advantage... as I need all the help I can get..
