Works just fine in the car with it folded open. And I use a "pop socket pop wallet " when I go out. And if im home…I unsnap it so I can wireless charge etc. works awesome. And pop socket makes it Very easy to use 1 handed.
I did the S22 Google fi promo, and couple of suggestions/warnings.
1. 120 days starts from 1st bill date, not order date and not phone activation date. 1st bill date will be 2 days after phone activation.
2. It's better to start a 5th month bill, wait 2 days and then cancel/ port out. It will be a prorated bill anyway.
3. $20 is the min plan plus about $5 in various taxes.
Fi app has a menu option that tells you exactly how many days are left until the promo terms are met.
Incorrect. You can immediately remove the Google Fi SIM and put another SIM in the Fold 4. You just can't put the Google Fi SIM into another phone or they will charge back. So it's unlocked and can be used asap with any carrier you wish. Google SIM just goes in drawer to be safe.

I tried to submit a request on USPS.com for them to investigate why my trade is still stuck, but it said it is too early and I need to wait for one of 2 things to occur, but note the date they state to wait till is 11/1 which is 10 days ago!

This tracking number is not yet eligible for an inquiry. Your package is moving within the USPS network and is currently in transit to the next facility. Once a new tracking status occurs or if there is no change by 11/1/2022, you will be eligible to submit a service request.
Notice the part about not being eligible for an inquiry till 11/1. Today (11/11) is already 10 days beyond that. Odd!
I got the same thing before then I called them. Lady on phone created a case for me saying someone would update me in 24-48 hours. No one ever called. But Google Fi magically received my package and approved my credit back soon after. What a journey.
Looks like they increased the trade in value on S21. It was $460 few days back, now it is $530. Tough decision, either $800 toward the BB deal $750 deal on S22+ or $530 toward Fi S22-ultra $599.
Anybody tried to price match the trade in value? I just bought the phone last week.
i sent my trade in Oct 28, got message received from google a couple days ago, no update from USPS, still in transit.
you have to contact Google Fi and create the ticket. Mine did the same thing I got the full credit 3 days after submitting the ticket on Google Fi customer support.
Easiest thing is to check the web site for trade in updates:
Happy to report that I checked on fi.google.com and my trade-in was received and the full credit has been issued to my CC.
Note - I suggest checking the Google Fi web site for trade in status since I never received an email or text from Google Fi that my trade-in was received.
(Also can't check USPS tracking anymore since I did not note the tracking number and the tracking info has since disappeared from fi.google.com now that they issued my credit).
U can do thru app. Wasn't hard I had done about 4 yrs ago.and ll do in about 15 days..switching to mint ..
I got 5 more days left. So I just port the number out and the service will end? If I go thru the app, do I need to put the Fi sim back in the phone first? Thanks.
Finally the 120 days are up and I cancelled service today and ported out to xfinity. MAke sure take a screenshot of promotion being complete before porting out.
