By now you ought to have realized that their quality sucks, if you've had to replace that many. I've had Anker cables die on me too. Multiple ones. Their powerline III cables are the worst. They always die. I had bought a 2 set of 3'and another of 6' cables. One by one all of them died. Initially I got replacements for two of them but then they died too. After that I didn't bother asking for replacements for any of them. Why would I want to continue using a product that has failed on me so many times. I get that I can obtain a replacement. But I would rather throw them away, chalk it up to a loss and move on. Somehow cheap cables from random companies have lasted me a life time. And one can never go wrong with monoprice.
Oem would die 200x faster. I'm a killer of cords that's why I buy these. Was a sad day when I had to buy new cords (usb c to lightning) anker got couple dollars off me again
And if apple goes usb c then gotta do again / sad
