Are the arms too long or is the body too short? I wonder if this is one of those ridiculous cuts where it's sized so the body ends at the "natural waist" where your belly button is. I had a motorcycle jacket like that once that was great while riding but felt horrible to wear in any other situation.

the body is also long... I would say the fit of this is similar to one size up in other brands

Hmmm... I want to get one to keep in my car for when I forget a jacket on hikes (to the donut store). I'm medium based on their sizing charts but wonder if I should buy M and S and just return the one that doesn't fit...

edit: Yeah screw it, for $35 I'll just buy both sizes and return the one that doesn't fit.
