It's not even extra. Can find those for the same price from TeamGroup. Though some people need a 2.5" drive and not an M.2 so there's that use case.

Not a good price for a dramless SATA drive. Avoid dramless SATA in particular, the worst of all worlds.

Worth the upgrade to Crucial MX500 in the 70s and dropping.

Either one is fine for dramless. Just buy the cheapest for that purpose.

Doubt it, but that didn't stop me from buying the 500GB version yesterday. Not sure what I intend to purpose it for, but having spare SSDs at your disposal doesn't hurt.
