That's not accurate - the latest version MX Master 3S goes up to 8k DPI but the MX Master 3 is 4k DPI (business and regular).

I've been using the 3 for about a year now and it's absolutely the best productivity mouse I've ever used. I don't even know how long it goes between charges; at least a month and a half, if not more. I've got copy-paste shortcuts on the main side buttons, and a variety of other macros and app shortcuts on the others. I love this mouse, just picked up another for my wife's PC.

Get the 3S if you like quiet clicks. The price of the 3 has been lower before.

That's not accurate - the latest version MX Master 3S goes up to 8k DPI but the MX Master 3 is 4k DPI (business and regular).

Sorry, I must have found the 3s info by mistake. But it would be a reason to consider the 3s vs this regardless if you want fast twitch mouse movements. Though I will say I am used to gaming and the 4.5k setting is my default for regular use so the 4k level is probably good for most everyone even with bigger monitors.

did they fix the rubber surrounding the mouse getting sticky after 2 years? there's been lots of complaints about it.

the bolt receiver is a deal breaker. not about to go that route. i prefer a unifying receiver.

I've had mine for 2+ years and have had zero issues. Rubber texture is still in great shape all around
