there are no amenities whatsoever in the flight (no screens, no chargers, no included drinks or snacks - you have to pay extra, no reclining seats), and the seats are even more cramped than usual. and they'll nickel and dime you for everything, so better make sure you don't go over the carry-on size.
as long as you know what you are signing up for, they both offer some extremely cheap flights at times

My question to people: has anyone noticed that other airlines take more off at the counter than Frontier? It seems to me Spirit takes less off(?) I never tried others, but was told that even, for example, a future ticket to India was way cheaper at the counter than on-line
Interesting marketing strategy. Lol.
The only real major issue with Frontier is that if their flight is cancelled or delayed, you're out of luck because they don't have partnerships with any other airline to get you to your destination quickly. When booking with frontier, use a premium travel card like Amex Platinum to cover any trip interruption or delay costs.
Overall, just know what you are getting and go for it. People are too lazy and dumb to read or watch YouTube videos on frontier, but then will throw a tantrum at the gate because they want their checked bag to be free.

International is a whole different ballgame, because now the point of sale (POS) comes into play. Purchasing the same exact flights at the counter in India vs at a counter in the US can yield different fares.
When I said "these days", I was talking specifically about returning on Saturday.
if you are on vacation, why not just return on Sunday?!
Booked a flight with them which was to happen last week. My luck, the day of the flight I started feeling sick. Did an at-home COVID test which popped positive. IMMEDIATELY got in touch w/ them (this was ~8AM, flight was at 11AM) to let them know. They told me not to fly, and said that I needed a test from a doctors office/clinic from within 4 days prior to the flight. Explained to them that I'd just started to have symptoms and tested immediately; the only open clinic was later in the afternoon. They told me to get test and submit paperwork anyway, which I did - their response after submitting was "You must test prior to the flight and we cannot except a positive test result from after the flight time."
So I'm just out money and their response was a nicely-worded "F*** you, kindly".
