Additional info,
1. Dexley is bigger than Hyken. Depending on your size, one may be preferable over the other.
2. I have two Dexley chairs for 3 years. The bottom part of one of the chairs was broken, and it was replaced free of charge, after a phone call.
3. I reversed the armrest assembly of Dexley, the setup provides an additional support at the elbow area, and I can sit closer to the desk.
4. One slight negative, there is a slight play (about 5-10 degree) even though tilt lock is fully engaged on both of my Dexley chairs.
5. Beside these, no issues so far. Pretty comfortable WFH for the last a couple years.

Handling fees? Get wrecked.

These chairs were also sub $100 the BF before covid. Normally around $140. MSRP is artificially inflated to appear like a deal. $160 after fees? Get wrecked.

Do you know if it's bigger or taller? I'm 6'4" but have a small rear end...

How do these compare to the WorkPro 9000 mesh chair? Specifically comfort and build and mesh quality.

I bought the WorkPro and I'm in a lot of pain in my upper back. I assumed it's because of years of terrible posture, but I've given it a month and I can't sit for more than a half hour.

Would love to hear your thoughts/opinions on this chair!

Bought 3 blue Dexley's for my kids back when they were $100 2 years ago. (The Hyken wasn't on sale then) No complaints and have held up nicely especially for the price. Was working on my daughter's computer though and looked under the mesh cushion...yeah, that's disgusting.

Just replaced the gas cylinder in my 20 year old Herman Miller Aeron for $30. First repair and like new. I'm 6'4" 220 lbs. you get what you pay for.
That's pretty awesome.

But not everyone can afford that, and unfortunately that's not the chair on sale.

I bought the dexley and have had it for about a year. I have discovered I dont really like chairs that have the 'auto' lean back feature where there isn't actually an option to keep it straight while leaning back all the time. I developed a neck injury because if I lean back in this chair it tilts slightly and then I am sticking my neck out while doing extended work at desk. Everything else is nice about the chair

Had a Hyken for a couple years during pandemic... sold it recently for a better gaming chair. The Hyken's lumbar support was painful/ineffective and had to be optimized by sticking a pool noodle segment through it, which would inevitably fall out. It was just too small/didn't work well with the mesh and lead to more back pain for me. Other than that it was nice when it was warm, and fairly comfortable and adjustable.

It's a bit of both. I have the Dexley. I'm 6'3" and about 175lbs, with a fairly small rear myself. I find it decently comfortable, though the arm rests/seat are a little wider than I'd prefer, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I have long legs, so the deeper seat of the Dexley is okay for me, however I have used a pillow in the past in the lumbar area for days when I want to sit with bad posture and lean forward out of the seat. I never got to try a Hyken myself, but I imagine it's probably a little more comfortable on the rear and lower back for people with builds like ours, but I really wanted the higher back and headrest of the Dexley because I like to lean back often.

I've had one of these chairs for nearly 5+ years. I use it every day for work. It's comfortable and durable. The only annoying things I've noticed is..

1. The cushion in the front of the seat becomes loose and I have to push it back into place (like once a week).

2. The armrests have gotten a bit wobbly over the years.

Would I get another? Probably.

Thanks for that, as I know nothing, and wanting to get one for my GF who is working from home these days and has a crap chair.

I wish I had more to spend on a Hermann Miller but reality dictates...
We have Herman Miller chairs in the conference rooms at work. They're chairs. Nothing special.

That said, I've had this chair for over year, no issues. It was a little too short for my taste, but a replacement cylinder from Amazon gave it a couple extra inches, making it perfect.

oh, I also swapped out the wheels for a $18 set of roller blade style wheels on Amazon. Rolls smooth as silk.
