Because people didn't know a lot of their own stations didn't participate their own before thumbs up.

is their website broken? i randomly put ~10 zipcodes of major major cities with hundreds of Chevron and 0 participating according to the filter, inclusive of every major city in TX

Very selective locations! In socal, within 35 radius of where I live, I only see 3 participating locations, in Huntington Beach (all 3 are in the same city)!

Yup and Chervon gas in socal is always more expensive than other brands. So with the dollar off you will pay the same price as every other station.
