Ok this explains the question I was to ask. I checked all the Chevron I know and they all have the Safeway Albertsons rewards. Even though they showed up on the store locator.

Exactly this. Good luck finding a participating location. The apps themselves only show locations. It doesn't seem to specify participating locations. Also if you get premium gas, the QT down the street probably has better prices even with the discount. This is my GA experience.

I don't understand. Every Chevron I've been too doesn't even ask for a rewards number. The location search doesn't seem to show any in the 50 mile radius I search that even offers it.

How do I know which stores are allowing rewards and points?

On the website, it shows I have 1000 points for this $1 off per gallon but when I'm at the pump, punching in my phone number, it then says I have 0 reward 🙁

There are lots of chevron gas stations, but most are not participate to the program, you won't find one from San Francisco to San Jose.

That link are ones that support the Chevron Gas rewards. I made that list confirmed those ones support Chevron Rewards.

Multiple people confirm it didn't work on most location
If you use their app or https://www.chevrontexacorewards....cator.html, you will see none from San Francicso to San Jose side of bay.

Haven't found a working station from Atlanta Ga, to Birmingham, Al. They all allow pay via app, but "aren't participating in the rewards program yet." Such BS.

Actually I used my app with very old account to fill last month, but just got this 1000 points today as a welcome? I'm not complaining but this is a new offer to me

Question, how do the points work if I only want to earn 1000 points for first purchase, without redeeming this sign up bonus? Is there an option at pump or automatic?
