This. The failure point of these type of things is the set screws. I am a carpenter and trust me, this tool isn't as useful as you'd think. It's quite big so it makes it tough to get into tight spots. Save your money and don't let the SD effect get you, you don't really need this.

This is a drill bit and counter sink on one side, and a drill driver bit on the other. You drill the hole, then a quick release flip of the bit to a driver to drive screws.

Are drill and bit replaceable or is the whole unit a throwaway if one or the other or both break?

Also looks based on a question asked for this at Amazon that the drill bit is also replaceable in case you need to switch to a flat head, decking bit, etc

Looks like you're good to go

Faster to use two drills, but this would be good if you only had one drill or could only carry one for some reason.

I used to have a B&D drill with this feature built in. The chuck came off to expose a hex bit holder. Loved that feature and surprised it didn't become more prevalent across other brands.

I've had one of these for awhile, it was part of a larger set with smaller/bigger countersinks and bits.

It works well, just be careful when loosening and tightening the hex bolt that holds the bits in, it can strip pretty easily unfortunately.

I'd argue that flipping the bit takes the same amount of time as putting one drill down and picking up a second drill. Swapping drills also isn't very convenient depending on how much work space you have

I bought this a few years back for $35 but it came with a case and spare parts/Allen key. I was very happy with it even at that price so I'll definitely be picking this up as a spare

There is a spare drill bit also available for $9.43. I am sure slickdealers have at least 2 power drills and ambidextrous to do super fast jobs

Reviews on this product are terrible. I would skip just on hearing how quickly the set screw breaks.
