This appears to be a good price but I thought I read somewhere that the 3060Ti and the 3080/tI were the ones primarly for mining. I could be wrong. At this price is it worth the gamble and only a 1 yr warranty?

Good question, there's also the issue of availability on EVGA replacement parts going forward though I've read they're retaining enough inventory to handle warranty claims for a certain period.
I'm close to grabbing a 3080 when they get down near 600 but right now they're bouncing between maybe 650-800 so getting a Ti for 730 with a useful warranty and no rebate gimmicks seems like something worth considering.

The 3060TI for 349 is a new reduction.

Tricky trying to avoid a mining card that has seen constant use.

The 3080ti was not primarily used for mining, but they were mined on (I did, at least). And that doesn't really matter, a mining gpu generally has had an easy life living in 1 single heat zone in it's entire life, versus a gaming gpu going up/down in heat cycles. I've purchased bstock gpu's from evga, never once had an issue.

Can you tell me if I will need to purchase cables with this? Do these cards require them? It states no accessories so that's a little of a turn off as well

It is quite likely any used 3080 Ti was mined on, even mine was for many months, even though it was in my gaming PC. I used nicehash because it was a money printer. I think I got around $600 out of mining crypto, and that was just over a few months mining in my spare time when I wasnt using the PC, like when sleeping.

These had LHR limiters, but there was a partial workaround that allowed for 70-75% of the mining potential instead of the 50% LHR limit. If you had a good card, you could potentially get 90 MH/s out of these which was a lot better than the 60 or so that they did stock. So a lot of miners still bought these and mined at around 90 MH/s which was profitable in many cases. Many miners were reinvesting profits so didnt care that it was far from the best card to mine on, it didnt matter as it was reinvested profits.

They only come with the gpu itself, and sometimes a support bracket (not really needed imo). None of their gpu's will come with any cables of any sort, even if you buy new. Your psu will need to have all of the pcie cables needed, and you'll obviously need to supply your own hdmi/dp cables.

Beware that the cooler for the XC3 version are pretty bad from the reviews on YT and articles I've read online. Might as well shell out extra $150-$200 for a new 3080 12GB model that has better cooling like MSI or even EVGA FTW3.

EVGA is also getting out of the GPU market so hopefully all those warranties will be honored (in a timely fashion) when needed.

Take a look at your local used market. I bought an evga 3080 ti from a miner for $500. Evga has a transferable warranty and there's two years left. There are a lot of used cards hitting the market. You can be a tough negotiator right now.

It's almost better buying used since you'll generally get at least ~2 years of warranty, correct? Versus the 1 year they offer w/ b-stock cards?
