For the two air purifiers mentioned, the DustMagnet 5210i seems be significantly less efficient than the Winix C545 per below where simply speaking, higher is better (and if someone does consider themselves an expert on this and want to educate me more, please!):

My suggestion is to buy one that's rated at a higher square footage than the room this will be sitting in. Since it will be overpowered, you can run it on low and get the minimum amount of noise while enjoying great purification.
As mentioned earlier Costco has the dustmaget for $200 with an extra set of filters which cost $50 so maybe a slightly better price at costco with a better return policy.

The Blueair Dustmagnet has a faster rate of clearing out particulate matter, such as allergens. The Winix is still pretty good at clearing particulates, but isn't as fast as the Blueair. On the other hand, the Winix is much better than the Blueair at dispersing volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
If you're mostly concerned about allergies, the Blueair Dustmaggnet 5410i is one of the best air purifiers you can buy. If you're looking for more of an all-arounder, or if you work with paint, varnish and other materials that release ample VOCs, the Winix is for you

Medium settings usually are at least 50% of the stated value, making it easier to roughly compare units.

The 5210 should be significantly less as it is rated for 212 sf. Also, that is a smaller completely different model.
This one is nearly identical to the Winix. Both rated for 360 sf.

The 5410i and C545 are both rated for about 300sqft on paper, while the 5210i is only rated for 200sqft.
The trouble with on paper values is that real world application introduces so many variables that can skew actual results, starting with the fact that you're never going to be sending one type of particulate through. The surface area of the filter is also a big one. Other things to consider are that some people might fare better with top fed units vs side fed because of pet hair, differences in climate affecting particulate dispersion, etc.
I'd also imagine most people consider the dB rating before the CFM, not realizing that a larger, slightly louder unit will run less often because they're more efficient.
Do you have pets?
When in doubt, always go larger than the sqft of the room.
The one from Blueair only includes the preinstalled filters, while the Costco one comes with an entirely second set.
These filters run in pairs.
One of the reviews shows that two are required.
