How can you tell the difference in air quality? I had an air purifier but it ended up in the closet. I can't tell the difference. In what scenario will you notice a difference?

Might be a model specifically for Costco but not sure what the difference is. I would wait for it to go on sale at Costco.
Do these go on sale regularly @ Costco? I was ready to buy, but am wondering if I should wait or just buy and hope to price adjust later.

Difficult to understand square footage ratings when alot of new homes are open floor plans. Doesnt dust just migrate to your clean area

Bluair all have always on ozone generators, even if emissions are low they can accumulate to high levels in a room, pass
Says right on product page "Zero Ozone Verified (<5 ppb) by Intertek Sustainability Program."

Usually goes on once or twice a year for other blue air models from costco.

Maybe you're creating particulate faster than it can filter it?

Do you have pets?

When in doubt, always go larger than the sqft of the room.
No unfortunately it just doesn't really work

Good call!
Costcos model # looks different. Do you know if they are different in any way?
Nope the majority of products at Costco and Sam's as well as BJ's all have unique model numbers so that you cannot return products from their stores to other locations

I'm pretty sure this is incorrect.

The one from Blueair only includes the preinstalled filters, while the Costco one comes with an entirely second set.

These filters run in pairs.

One of the reviews shows that two are required.
Directly copied from product pages --

Costco: "Includes Set Of ComboFilters Compatible With DustMagnet 5415i"

I'm confused where people are reading that it includes two sets.

Hopefully you are right. I love Costco. I just don't see where people are reading this. If you scroll down to the bottom of the Blueair official website it also shows a set of filters that comes with it.

You know that because you bought it at Costco? It looks to me like a Costco purchase gives you two sets of filters, so double the filters as buying direct.
Where are you seeing that Costco gives two sets of filters?

My guess is the picture on the costco website shows two filters, but two filters is just one set(uses one at top and bottom). if you scroll down to the bottom of the blueair there is the same image of 2 filters. Even if costco comes with 2 filters, then i have to not lose the extra set for the next 12 months before they need to be replaced....i love costco, but i'd rather have the 40 bucks

Bought 2. Everywhere else it's regular pricing. I have a levoit one currently and it works for me. Less allergens and sucks in all the dust and dog hairs in my room.
