Tinkle Lifetime [tinkle.in]
Dont see a difference between the 949INR and $75 offers.
They were sending email for $149 for a few days, but suddenly they send this Dussehra sale. So thought of sharing, if its going to be useful for someone.
Enjoy
I still remember my childhood days of reading the latest Tinkle at my local newsstand and getting shooed away for reading and not buying.

Update - payment of ₹950 for the Tinkle subscription went through. Got an automated receipt from Amar Chitra Katha. No sign up info yet. Hopefully that'll come later.

No sign in instructions though. I'm assuming that'll come through later. Payment portal asks for a phone number. I used my dad's phone number, but don't know if that matters. Really you can put anything in I guess. The OTP for my payment comes to my own phone cause that's the number on my Indian NRE bank account. Maybe my dad got a text message confirming the subscription. Or maybe I signed him up for a bunch of spam 😖. We'll see ☺️.
Considering the Amar chitra katha now. But it's ₹4000. That's a bit much. Don't know why that's so much more than the Tinkle offer.
But I guess, for this cheap a price it's worth getting. Maybe kids will get a flavor of life in India. My son is too young to read, but I'm sure my daughter will read it a couple of times and forget about it. If you pay in rupee, after conversion the Tinkle lifetime access is under $12. That's a no brainer. Even if they read it a couple of times it's worth it.
The Amar Chitra Katha is about $50 though. On the fence about that one. For educational value, being folk tales, ACK is better I guess. But don't know how much they'll read it.
Update - I caved and bought ACK as well. On consideration $50 is not much for the amount of content. It says will get sign in info in 24 to 48 hrs. Let's hope it works fine.
Any idea where would I find it.
Thank you.

But I don't think it matters too much. These are kids books. By the time kids are old enough to understand and digest nuanced social sensibilities, they won't be reading these. Too many entertainment avenues for kids nowadays. And that too comics from 'another' country that they can't talk about with their friends. Pretty sure the usage lifetime of these comics for kids in US is going short. 😊
