The other deal with the shop towels is better because you can cancel the towels and get the money back from them. Not only that, but the towels are billed separately absurdly high. They are billing at like $14.xx or so per towel. That means you get the jug of oil for like 6.xx per jug. That's before any rebate.

Say what? There is no such thing. None of what you said make any sense and that "general rule" is not in any book. Use the oil weight recommended by your vehicle's manufacturer.

The jug and the qt are billed separately at $5.05 and $17.42. You can cancel or return the qt to make this a nicer deal.

I ordered two and then returned a 5 qt and 2 singles back to Walmart without receipt. They refunded me in Walmart GC at store pricing, which is about 45 dollars. So without counting the rebate, it's $4 for the 5qt.

9/10 times you will not receive the Rebate. Customer support is non existent and even the rebate status tracking website is no longer operable.

Recently tried to collect on a Penzoil rebate and never got it. I would not trust the rebate. YMMV.
