Differences between Pro and Pro Plus?
Pro Plus isn't legal to sell individually to consumers. It's one of the ways you know these keys are pirated.

What do you mean? It's official software and it works. Please give more details on your reason being against it.

"Legitimate" retailer promotes and/or markets for a 3rd party gray market software vendor.

And I'm not necessarily passing judgement . But gray market licenses are pretty much a crapshoot. Slightly less risky than BS stolen software but that's about it .
Isn't this directly from GameStop? Who is the grey market vendor?

What's the 10 percent it doesn't do?

Does MS Word improve that much each year. I have MS Word 2019 and MS 2007 because 2007 has some features that 2019 doesn't have in terms of creative or artistic text features. I do all of my own typing and there doesn't seem to be all that much difference between 2007 and 2019 as far as typing average documents is concerned.

What happens to the data stored on the 1TB OneDrive available with the subscription model? I can also share my subscription with 4 people who each get their own 1 TB of OneDrive. I saw this deal today on Mashable, but with my employer discount the subscription was $79 per year. That cost isn't too bad for 5 individuals to use.
Yeah, if only you could easily use one drive with iMessage and photos on iPhone. The low cost (sometimes $40 on here) subscription model with convert to family hack is the way to go for cloud storage + office.

Agreed. All of these "deals" are just reselling volume license keys that is not allowed. Who needs Office any more anyway? Just use LibreOffice for free.
As a LibreOffice user myself, I mostly agree with you. Out of all the 10+ years I've been on open source office, there's only one or two instances where actual office was needed, and only because it was some weird macro thing. You can bypass this by converting your word or excel from docx or xlsx to doc or xls but obviously lose some formatting...

To each their own. Good luck shoppers and naysayers!

I don't have any experience with the 3rd party selling keys that was posted in the thread (I'm not referring to OP's deal) but I have a lot of experience with these types of key dealers. Four or five years ago I discovered these types of providers and bought a bunch of keys for different people (I'm the family go to guy). Every one of them eventually went inactive. Again, it's not the specific dealer but based on the price I'm guessing it's a similar business model of selling keys they bought in bulk under the agreement they wouldn't be sold. M$ eventually catches on and bans all the keys. One vendor I used replaced the keys for me but it eventually happened again and I gave up.

The keys are legal/legit from M$ but the vendor violated the sales agreement and will (in my experience at least) eventually be invalided as a result. Again, that's not this specific vendor but I'm guessing "software key hub" just serves as a point of sale for the people that do this (similar to the now banned /r/MicrosoftSoftwareSwap). By the time M$ catches on that specific vendor has already shuttered and it's too late for their "30 day money back guarantee." Just something you may want to factor nto the "savings" those keys provide.

It isn't GameStop. It's GameSpot. So, you're not buying from a retailer.

Every Microsoft product that I've purchased in the last 5+ years has been through a so-called "gray market" (Kinguin) or VPN "hack". No stolen credit card numbers, no Microsoft nastygrams, no issues whatsoever.

FUD

I have macros that I use that are designed for Excel. Pretty good reason why I can't go with libre office, but if it wasn't an issue, id just use Google sheets instead
