I need to buy charger separately?
Only if you want to recharge the battery that doesn't come with this.

Exactly what I was thinking; mounting them on the front of my riding mower.

No, it should work with any Greenworks 60v battery.

Sorry, no; the 40v batteries are way smaller and different design.

I have this leaf blower. It's pretty good and powerful enough but I've owned it for a few years and it seems that the 60v battery is a bit of a dead-end. only a few tools offered and nothing else I'd really want. Good deal only if you already have a compatible 60v battery and charger
I have a push mower, weed trimmer, chainsaw, hedge trimmer and the blower. I had the DeWalt line a few years ago but returned them all after trying the mower. My 60v Greenworks mower is much better.

If anyone has a Kobalt battery, it can easily be modified to work with this blower. You just need to dremel the side rail down flush, very simple, I've done it and works perfectly.

slightly OT, but for the costco folks, they have the 80V 4ah one now (note this is NOT the old version with two 2ah batteries). Local store just got the first discount on it so its 229, which isnt an amazing price but the double battery warranty for 8yrs is the crazy thing here.
this one?

Any recommendations for a smaller and quieter cordless blower for my older parents? They already have gardeners, it would be more so used for light cleanups in between so don't need anything heavy duty.

This was my first GW tool several years ago. Ive been impressed and ended up buy the edger, pole saw, hedge trimmer etc etc.
I feel like they are getting rid of all the 60v tho, Im simply buying this one as a space since i use it ever day

Greenworks has a 2.5ah battery on sale today for $99. It's the Bluetooth version, don't know if that makes a difference.

Nothing says "not my problem anymore" than a fcuking leaf blower
I use a blower instead of a rake to blow leaves into piles at the side of my lawn and then they are taken away as part of our community services. I've never seen anyone blowing leaves into someone else's yard.

I bought the whole 60v line from HD couple years back. Then they stopped carrying it. I noticed a few months back now that Tractor Supply now has the 60v exclusivity so you might try there for a battery or get a tool and battery combo and it should work with this deal

I scooped this just so that i can cross strap/dual wield leaf blowers.
