Looks awesome at first glance, but recent reviews show the control mechanisms behind the setting selection knob melt and fail after a few years. I'd pass

I've owned this for 2 years. After the first year, some of the knobs stopped working, emailed Cuisinart, and they sent me a brand new one without having to send the old one back. So maybe poor quality control, but great customer service.

Mine does not have this issue yet. Using it 1-2 times a week. How often are you using it per week?

Maybe a little more than that, 3-4 times per week. Likely just got a dud, but Cuisinart rectified it, so I'm happy.

Use this everyday. First one stopped heating after 3 years. Searched everywhere for another. Now in hurricane area with no power and using this more than ever. Best kitchen appliance I've owned to date. Going to order another to have just in case. Thanks OP!

First one over on switch died. Sent me a free new one.

Second one working just fine. Both got used 2 times a day for toast and 2 week for bake.
Working great. Good price if you have the space.
