I guess if you have Google 1 (10%) and stacking with the $100/$200 store credit for the pre-order it makes it a little more enticing. Presumably you can use that credit for black friday deals or whatnot. I have an iPhone 12 mini they will give me $420 for and had some credit in my account from a Pixel 6a purchase a month or so ago - so I am out of pocket like $175 and am getting about $160 in credits for the future. Its not great, but I may pull the trigger as these Apple mini devices are losing value quicker than their larger counterparts.
