Trade in values for Pixel 6 series towards Pixel 7 Series
Pixel 6 128 GB - $440
Pixel 6 Pro 128GB - $480
These values are not great particularly for Pro, compared to what Samsung offers to their previous gen.

Wow, $440 trade-in value for Pixel 6 is killer. I'm biting at only ~$220 to upgrade. I've always sold my previous gen phone on eBay, but looks like Pixel 6 is going for around $440 on eBay right now, so I'm going to trade-in to avoid the hassle and fees of eBay! Thanks for posting, OP!

I am torn between the 7 and 7Pro . It is a $20-30 for Pixel 7 vs $220 for Pixel 7 Pro without adding tax or any cashback. Purely based on tradein value of Pixel 6 and the GC at BestBuy.

If I buy at Google Store, i will get the Pixel 7 for "free" with trade in of 6 + tax.
$599 - $100(one store credit) - $60 (one store credit for being Google One subscriber) - $440 (pixel 6 trade in) = $0 + tax - some cashback

Even though it is bill credits (would rather just buy phone unlocked), I'll only be paying $5.55 per month for the phone. I was able to trade in a 6 Pro for $480. Quickly looking on eBay it looks to be worth about $550 with a box and accessories. After Ebay fees and new eBay bull$hit, its not worth the risk of a shady buyer sending me back something different or any other shenanigan's.
What sucks is I go thru great extense to keep a device in good condition, just to trade it into google (or any other store credit) these days. They typically don't care about condition and will take back a poor device as long as its not cracked and boots up.

Maybe I will try to eBay the box? lol

I did forget all about Rcktn cashback, or any cashback site for that manner.
Also picked up a watch in the same order, should be here next week.

I traded in a Pixel 4a and an iPhone 11 for 2 Pixel 6a's through the Google store a month or two ago and had no issues. I will say that it's lame that you don't get refunded the tax on the trade-in amount. When you buy a new car your tax is less the trade-in value.

Why not use BestBuy ? Higher trade in values + BB GC.

for Pixel 5 they offer $400 trade in deal +$100 credit. You can't resell pixel 5 for $400 now days. Seems like pretty good deal to me.
