Pixel 6 128 GB - $440
Pixel 6 Pro 128GB - $480
These values are not great particularly for Pro, compared to what Samsung offers to their previous gen.

I ordered a base Pixel 7 from the Google Store and the cost was:

Phone with tax - $653
A credit I had - 25
Pixel 6 (base model) trade-in - 440
Store credit I will receive - 100
Total cost - 88

I'm on Google Fi, and I've been reasonably happy with the Pixel 6. I wasn't going to upgrade but the cost is small enough to be worthwhile for me.

I ordered a Spigen Rugged Armor case from Amazon; it was $16.99 plus tax. I had this case on my Pixel 6 and its plain but does the job.

moreso since it showed me $430 trade in for my S20+ 5G. Thats a device that is 2 1/2 yrs old

So far this is my best deal. Ordered the Pro, and am getting $275 trade in from my 3xl. Target and best buy only offered $30 for my 3xl. I will use the $200 credit to for the watch. Which will hopefully combine with the cyber Monday deals.

Google store deal seemed like the best way to go for me...

Traded in my fiance's Pixel 3 for $247 credit towards a Pixel 7 Pro. That's more than I originally paid for the Pixel 3 several years ago, lol. Will use the $200 store credit towards a Pixel 7 for myself...hopefully they'll have a nice black friday deal.

Is the AMEX Plat worth the purchase protection and extended warranty vs. Citi Costco CC with 2 additional years of warranty? It has saved me on numerous Pixels where things like the camera stopped working or the battery sucked or other things. AMEX Plat phone bill cell protection is great for like damage. One thing I am losing is purchase protection but hard to prove that if you get additional freebies like the 200 credit.

Store credit is store credit so I don't see why not, but the credit won't be issued until after your phone ships on the 13th, and I bet that the current trade-in values will be knocked down significantly at that time as well.

So does Amex cover $979? I thought they would cover up to the difference, that is price-trade-in. I think one would need to submit receipts
