Trade in values for Pixel 6 series towards Pixel 7 Series
Pixel 6 128 GB - $440
Pixel 6 Pro 128GB - $480
These values are not great particularly for Pro, compared to what Samsung offers to their previous gen.

Pixel 6 pro should have at least get $600 trade in value.

Either you have a lemon or you are one of those Apple fanboys. Or maybe you are joking as your username suggests. Did you return the phone?
I can very much see this being the case with the 6 pro. My 5a is absolute garbage. It can't record more than 2 min of 4K vid and overheats just using it. It is the worst phone experience I have ever had... and Google has sent me multiples. I have owned a Galaxy nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 5 Panda, Pixel 2XL (favorite phone ever!) and the 5a so not a fan boy for Apple.

The Google store trade in offer for my Pixel 5 is $400, that's more than what I paid for the phone
This was the kicker for me. $350 for the 5a which is garbage so I'm happy to get something for it.

This is a no brainer. My Pixel 6 has been used hard since launch. Getting $440 back + $100 store credit.

Anyone going from s22ultra to pixel 7pro? Last time around I ordered pixel 6 out right, thinking I'd sell my note on the side, dissatisfied with pixel 6 so returned back to Google no restocking fee.

If i go thru best buy I'd be doing the trade in at store option and not sure what would happen if I'm dissatisfied with pixel 7pro. Lose my s22 and possibly owe a restocking fee to best buy??
That's a downgrade. Don't do it.

Anyone with experience trading in with Google? Are they generally good about accepting the phone you send in (no issues/cracks) and giving you the full value they stated?

Is it recommended to check the box that says "Accept new value if it changes after inspection..."
i traded in with google twice, each time was perfectly used phone, no problems

I have a friend with a pixel 6 in Portland, ended up ordering him a pixel 7 and am buying an S21 to trade. After google store credits (which I plan to use for my own pixel 7 at some point), the cost should come out to about $200. After he sells his pixel 6, he should end up making money while upgrading to a new phone of the next generation. Solid deal.

Best Buy is offering a similar deal ($200 gift card) but their trade in offer was better for Pixel 6 Pro since it had an additional $250 trade-in promotion.

May I ask, did you pay outright for the phone initially? I'm trying to decide what to do. I have a VZW Pixel 6 on the payment plan with a $436 balance remaining. The line says it isn't available for upgrade, but two other lines on the account are. I also have a Pixel 3 XL that isn't being used which could be traded in instead.

I'd like to have the store credit for the pixel watch, plus I have Google One. But, I can't figure out the best way to go about it. It seems the best route at the moment is to trade in the 3 XL and get the $275, then find a way to transfer the new phone onto my account. Any advice welcomed.

I always buy my phone unlocked since back in the Nexus days. I have zero interest talking to carriers. Also allows me to jump to the best plan. Currently running ATT Prepaid $40/month for 16gb with rollover and tethering.

Just trade in the 3XL. That's a great trade in offer. I just gave mine to my dad or else I would have used it as well.

I got offered $240 for a 32gb iphone 7! Pulled the trigger and will probably end up selling my mint condition pixel 6a.

Not a bad deal at all.

Seems like a step backward and sideways. Although s22 ultra got its own issues, it's still superior in terms of build quality, the pen option and its drawing option, and the screen is not even comparable, let alone screen to body ratio...Plus no one will ever beat 1k trade in value with $200+ credit, so Samsung has the edge, although I wish iPhone was a lot more interesting so I could make the switch myself...
Also thought about iPhone pro max when it came out few weeks back but resisted lol guess I'll wait out for s23

Guess I'm just looking for reasons not to get this at this point, thanks!

Just use the S22U for a couple of years. It's an awesome phone. Don't waste money on annual upgrades.

I'm personally on an S10. If it was not for weak battery, I would not look into upgrading. But, I got a Pixel 6 for $200 last week so Pixel 7 for $60 extra might make sense (after trade in), mostly for 1 extra year of upgrades and, hopefully, resolved bugs with reception and fingerprint sensor on Pixel 6

Planning to upgrade both my (pixel 6 to P7 pro) and wife's (pixel 5 to P7) with trade in. If I subscribe to google one for the 10% cb can I use it for both purchases on just my account? I know I am going to have to make 2 separate purchases because you can only do one trade in per cart. If it works, seems like a no brainer to buy google one for 2 months.
