I have always traded in / Pre-order Pixel from Day 1.
To get best from Samsung / Google, best deals are on Pre-Order.
- TCL flip phones often go on sale for $20 a piece (w/ 365 days of service) at Tracfone's eBay store. Get 3 of them.
- Get a high-point referral to Tracfone with one of the phones, add the other two phones as new lines on your account to get a total of 30k+ reward points.
- Wait 60 days after adding the lines for points to vest.
- Once vested, use 30,000 points to get a $300 off coupon
- Buy a few Refurb iPhone XR using this coupon (Currently costs $99 + a $15 plan). You can get two iPhone XR + a cheaper phone or additional airtime and have the above coupon cover the entire total.
- Each iPhone XR has a trade-in value of $330 right now for the Pixel 7 (and you can trade in any extras at Apple for a Apple gift card)

The pricing is very enticing I honestly expected a price hike but nope its solid price. If I still owned my note 20 ultra I would of really considered this phone.
I just can't have my Pixel 6 Pro with few big issues anymore, that's the reason I dump it out at the first opportunity.
I know may be during BF or down the line after 4-5 months the phone might come down or combined with other offers, but, then again by that time, there will be another on the horizon and the same will ask you to wait a few months for the new one. I usually skip the generation always, if the phone is really good and stable.
I skipped Pixel 4 totally and Pixel 5 as well, went from Pixel 3 to the Pixel 4a to the Pixel 6.
If Pixel 7 pro fixes few annoying issues of Pixel 6 Pro, then I will be skipping the next generation of Pixel.
Overall, with GC and trade in I am getting it around $300.

My P6P is having issue when it's in sleep mode or when needed to wake up...the finger print doesn't wakeup ..screen still shows black ..I have to press the power button for it to wake up before pressing finger print display button
