Trade in values for Pixel 6 series towards Pixel 7 Series
Pixel 6 128 GB - $440
Pixel 6 Pro 128GB - $480
These values are not great particularly for Pro, compared to what Samsung offers to their previous gen.

When I ordered, my confirmation email stated I would receive the device and trade-in kit in 2 separate shipments, both arriving by Oct 13-14. After you order it should approximate the arrival date for your specified address.

Boo, tried to preorder the 128 gb Lemon grass at BB and it just says 'coming soon'. I wonder the likelihood of just pre-ordering the black one and trying to trade for the lemongrass when I pick it up

In my experience they shipped the trade in kit separately and it arrive almost a week after the phone arrived.

Dang, only $480 for a year old Pixel 6 pro? They'll give you $600 for a year old iphone 13 (not pro) with original msrp of $100 less.

Is the Google One 10% credit based off the original price or is it calculated after the trade-in value?

Also it sounds like full sales tax of the original price is charged, and that is not adjusted with the trade-in value? But I've read that Best Buy DOES credit back sales tax for the trade-in value.
Does anyone have any first hand confirmation?

Yes, for the Google store, the 10% credit is based off the original price before factoring in the trade in value. And also yes, sales tax is based off the original price and is not adjusted with the trade in value.
