I purchased 880v12 and they my least favorite shoes I ever owned. Extremely slippery on wet surfaces, 3 months later outside material is already frailing. Only used my pair for daily office work.
Only pros is they are comfy and look good. Paid for my 137 bucks. good luck.

I have 1080v10, UB19 and Nike Miler in rotation. I find the 1080's more comfortable and part of that is because you can usually get wides on sale. The UB and most Nikes are either not available in wide or hard to find so I have to go up a 1/2 size and it causes arch issues particularly if they have an aggressive heal clip.
I ordered one of these-hope they are as good as the 10's.

Also got an email from Paypal recently that they were discontinuing free returns. Do not remember cut off date.
my email said

Our Return Shipping on Us service is coming to an end. Starting November 27th, 2022, PayPal will no longer provide free return shipping labels or refunds for return shipping costs. Make sure to submit any eligible requests before the above date to ensure your claim is accepted.

what a shame. i really enjoyed that feature. it was probably costing them a lot of $$$. Nov 27 is after BF but before CM so hopefully all the good deals are on BF

The 880 V9 were my absolute favorite running shoes ever. I didn't like the "updates" to the V10 so I grabbed a bunch of V9 on clearance and have worn out my last pair now. I wonder how the v11 compares. I'll have to do some research because this price is great. I've been using Saucony endorphin speed v2 but I don't love them as a daily training shoe.

I was a NB fanboy for 30+ years then flipped to the Hoka Bondi model. This looks to be NB's answer to the Hoka's pillow cushioning - anyone with experience with both care to weigh in on the comparison? I am Late to this party- only wides left are ugly yellow but who cares - they're for running. I will give this a shot.

Anyone but from Joe's New Balance Outlet before? The reviews online are pretty bad, mainly the customer service. Do they sell factory seconds?

i have the clifton 7 and the NB 1080v10. I think the clifton 7 has slightly softer and more cushioning. the NB 1080v10 has this weird thing in the heel that pokes into my achilles area that i only really notice when running but not when walking. If i had to choose, i would stick with my clifton. i haven't tried the bondi before but i think that one has more cushioning than clifton

NB's direct competitor to the Bondi is the Fresh Foam More v3/v4. The 1080 is more of a Clifton competitor. I have the More v3 and I find it quite soft, bouncy, and enjoyable.

I bought some 880s years ago (880v7) and they were fine and I wouldn't mind repurchasing. However, the 880v11 looks a lot heavier?

Nope. My freshfoam 1080's are way more comfortable than any of my massive collection on ultra boosts but the sole won't last as long as ultra boosts.

Personally this is my recovery shoe and saucony speed 2's are my daily trainer.
I finally decided on the 1080v11, was researching the Lerato because I wanted to try a carbon fiber + fuel cell foam shoe for running that is not $200+. However the Lerato is heavier and not what I need at the moment (explained below).

I got the Ultraboost 19.5 last month while on sale, and will use that for my steady long run. And I plan to use 1080v11 for tempo, recovery and occasional speed works. I will use my Saucony Speed 2 exclusively for just speed work/hill.

On the lookout for one last pair of shoes for race day. Those are usually not on sale, but hopefully will find one during Thanksgiving.
