I can't believe they did not release the band kits during Covid. They missed out on millions.

Man I looked in to purchasing this for my kids now because they would freaking love it and holy cow are the instruments expensive now. A full set, used, on eBay is like almost $400. Wish I would've held onto them or Harmonix (if they're even around anymore I dunno) would re-release them.

Check out the PDP legacy drum adaptor. The USB dongle was discontinued and sells for $1000+. I have one that I don't ever use, but can't bring myself to get rid of for that off chance my kids will want to get into it

Rocksmith 2014 is still going strong, but some of the songs are starting to get delisted. It got my middle school aged daughter into playing guitar and bass.

I bought a complete kit of this back in like 2018 randomly, and god damn the instruments were such terrible quality, I couldn't stick with it.

Isn't this kinda pointless since it's next to impossible to find a adapter? I still have all my instruments but haven't been able to use them for years due to this.

Yes!! I had just installed and downloaded all my RB4 (which is a finicky performing game on XB1 and Series S/X machines. My version of RB4 was the launch version which didn't have Rivals and I didn't want to pay for it. Patience paid off!! (Though I only have a guitar as all my instruments were USB PS2 and 360 versions

I scored a blue Fender Jaguar guitar with Xbox One game disc in the original package for $30 last year. The whammy bar is droopy like happens to a lot of these. An internal plastic piece that holds the bar in place inside the guitar breaks. It's still perfectly playable however and no adapter is needed for the newer versions of these instruments.
