I currently use pre-made premier protein shakes. How close does this taste compared to pre-made ones of the same brand. Thank you

I buy these for my elderly mom and she's normally fussy about food. I was surprised she said they tasted the same when I switched from premade to the powder.

You can adjust the thickness of the shake by modifying how much water you add. I think the recommended range is 6 to 8 ounces.

I do recommend you make them in advance, and use either a shaker bottle or some sort of blender. I typically make them the night before in a blender bottle, shaking it randomly a couple of times during the day before serving it at 5pm.

Be aware the Café Latte flavor also has 95mg caffeine per serving. That may not be intuitive to people that are simply considering these as different flavor options.

This has Surcalose as a sweetener (I'm learning most protein power brands do), which is what the sweetener brand splenda uses. I'm not downing this fact other than it is waaaaay to sweet and on the fake tasting side of sweet. Just fyi...

This is a really good deal. Premier Protein makes some of the best tasting protein shakes in the market, so if the powder mixes for a shake that tastes just as well, then this is definitely worth the buy--I reccommend the Cafe Latte flavor. You're getting 510g of protein for $12, so you're getting about 40.48g per dollar, which is an excellent rate, especially for not having to buy a bulkier supply. And the grams of protein to calorie ratio is good as well.

Anyone have opinions on how this compares to Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard? I've always stuck with ON whey, but I'm getting tired of waiting for a deal to replenish my supply.

You can cancel but yes it's a reoccurring delivery you set up. But cancelling is easy.

Premier protein is excellent. I've tried a lot of different brands and that one tastes the best to me. Powder is not identical to premade but tbh I like it better. Ive had nothing but trouble with subscribe and save though. Every time I subscribe to something for one reason or another it's delayed, more often than not I just order when I need it and skip delivery of the subscription because they're so flakey.
