Killer price, but wish they had a deal on a QLED. Viewing angles are paramount for our BR.

Mine is still going. Within the last 12 month it has started to pop up a vertical bar on the screen every now and then though, so it's time is limited. I can't complain though. I think we've had it for 13 years and we broke all the rules - leaving it on a still image or pause for hours on end, etc. Never had any burn-in or other troubles.

Do the Google search. The rumor on this deal is definitely out.

It's no use searching on Amazon because they wouldn't tell you. A Lightening Deal does not disclose the price until the deal actually opens. But Amazon did clearly leak the story so that people would know in advance.
I don't think it's true.

I'm pretty sure there's a catch 🙄😒...
the catch is Alexa will be recording everything you say within earshot of the tv 24/7/365 even when the tv is off and storing it on Amazons NSA cloud servers. Good luck with the deal. I wouldn't touch it with a hundred foot pole.

I have to laugh at everyone talking about privacy. I am a retired Software Engineer. Did any give permission to the 4 major credit. Bureaus to maintain your info. They have everything, not just your score. Has anyone searched your name and address on Google. Try it. We have lost our privacy long time ago and it is to late to complain. The only thing they are recording that they may not have is you having sex. Lol

Oh no! Nevermind a bank heist, I can't imagine what they'll do when they hear I'm out of paper towels.

doh, and i just bought the 43" target tv today for about that after the 15% off!!!
Target Tv is a way better deal. Roku > Fire. This TV usually sells for $200 - $225 on sale anyway not $550.

Nope, they actually have that too. Maybe not on video but they do have the sound recorded. Alexa and your phone is listening. It was on the news a while back where they said the (Amazon Employee) people on the other end of Alexa were listening to people having sex.

I have the 4 series tv from the last Prime Day. It has never been connected to the internet, even during setup.

I plug in an Onn box for streaming and PS5 for gaming, and I can still watch TV channels with antenna/cable
