I think there will be a lot of these available.

And this is just a tactic to convince a lot of people who wouldn't install a smart speaker, to buy a TV with a built-in, always listening, Alexa device instead.

Add it to your wishlist. Alexa will notify you with a yellow light 24 hours before deal goes live. Once that happens ask Alexa to buy it once it goes live. You don't have to track when it goes live.

Amazon recently has not allowed me to price match items even when they haven't even been delivered yet. I don't know if their policy changed or what but they have denied adjustments after purchase.

I also ordered a 4 pack of body wash recently and the package came open during transit and I only received 3 bottles. Old era Amazon would have credited my order or shipped a single bottle. Instead they shipped me another 4 pack and told me to take 1 out and return the other 3 lol

They haven't allowed price match for 2-3 years now.

My dot turned yellow/green recently, not sure if that's the 24 hr sale warning some people talked about. Still don't know what to say to get Alexa to buy it for me once it's on sale.

From my skimming of the comments, it only seems like people are guessing it will start at midnight, right? But it could actually start at noon or 3:47pm or any time? Some using the Alexa trick at it will start within 24 hours, but even that isn't anywhere near exact, correct? It is just a complete shot in the dark?

At this point, you can either have Alexa remind you about the deal or tell her to order it when it goes live. ("Alexa, buy it for me.") That purchase will be made using the default payment and delivery address in your Amazon account, so make sure that information is updated and correct beforehand.
