I think there will be a lot of these available.

And this is just a tactic to convince a lot of people who wouldn't install a smart speaker, to buy a TV with a built-in, always listening, Alexa device instead.

Add it to your wishlist. Alexa will notify you with a yellow light 24 hours before deal goes live. Once that happens ask Alexa to buy it once it goes live. You don't have to track when it goes live.

The Lightening Deal list for "Television & Video" is already showing items that will start as late as 3:50 am PDT on October 12. And the OP Fire Omni TV is not on the list yet. So what this tells me is that the OP Fire Omni TV deal will likely be for the second day (October 12), just like the 50" Fire TV for $99 which also showed up on the second day of the last PD.

Of course, there is nothing stopping Amazon from suddenly dropping the OP TV in the middle of the Lightening Deal list, so I could be wrong. But this is what I am smelling right now - Amazon is trying to get people to keep coming back to the Prime Day site by not giving this TV deal away early. That's what they did the last time.
