Just a heads up, even if you are not up for renewal, you can pay in advance. So I was able to renew my plan that is renewing 1/2023, and just got the email confirmation from Amex!

I loaded $90 to the wallet and got the AMEX cashback. To load $90; just change 20 to 90 in the link.

You need manually change the web URL from 20 to 90, refresh it, it will show load page, it says $85, but after you pay, it is $90 loaded into your wallet. Never add $20x9, as you need charge at least $90 in one transaction to qualify the offer.
I see and then I assume once you loaded this into the wallet then you go and make an advance payment? I assume at that point an option shows up to pay with wallet? I don't want to accidentally load a bunch of money into the wallet just to find out that it's stuck there and can only be used up with updata or international stuff, which I *never* need.

My 4GB/mo plan is up for yearly renewal in a couple of weeks; is there any savings to be had from adding to my wallet (either $90x2 or $180x1) versus just setting turning auto-renew back on after changing my payment method to a previously-enrolled AMEX card?

Same here but it is actually a better deal than paying with CC directly. I get this for CC

Summary
4GB 5G 4G LTE Data 12 Months $180.00
Recovery Fee $18.50
Taxes & Surcharges $4.11
Total $202.61

VS

2 x $95.72 (I used 2 offers)
Total $191.44

The one thing I can actually use & of course Amex doesn't offer it to me. They think I'm jetting off to LA, eating Omaha steaks and drinking wine club wine. 🤬

Mint's website allows payment for plan through wallet. If you have a payment method save, click on change and then select wallet.

Have offers on two Amex cards. Never used Mint mobile. What is the nest way to create/add a line on Mint mobile? New customer: $45 for 3 month. Not sure of what other choices are. Thanks.

I just sent you a pm. First you need to create an account and select a plan. Then you can port-in your number. Best would be to use $45 for 3 months. Then load $180 in your Mint wallet using your both the amex. Then you can change plan and enqueue annual 4gb/month plan. The annual plan will begin once your 3 months plan ends.

I don't really think that is possible. If you have two Amex card with this deal and new to Mint then best would be to go with cheapest plan $45/3 months and once that plan is activated then load $180 in wallet using Amex cards. You get 1 year 3 months for roughly $45 + $98. If you have more than two and you don't want to block your money in Mint wallet then go with unlimited $90/3 months paying with Amex, and later load money in Mint wallet using other Amex cards.

I wonder if this "wallet" option only shows up if there's money on it? Because when I hit the change button I only see two options: credit/debit card and paypal.

You are correct. It shows up only if you have money in wallet. I have enqueued an annual plan which starts once my existing 3 months plan expires next month, so believe me it works. I would say better to enqueue a plan as soon as possible and don't leave money in wallet. This might be a loophole as it doesn't look like Mint wanted wallet to be used for this.
