I originally had wrote these off as junk for years but got to play one and they are really good for the money. Frets need a little TLC and the hardware is cheap pot metal but it plays and sounds pretty nice. I can't believe how cheap they are making these guitars now when inflation is pushing all the name brands more expensive.

This is a slick deal. It sounds great. Everything works well. Worse case is you want to buff your fret ends; but many say not needed. And you might have to clean up the nut slots and pencil in some graphite on them. or just get a $10 TUSQ nut. Great for no expensive cost modding too. HSS for rock and metal. Not that it matters much, depending on your amp; but if you want the strongest extra bit of boost (if your setup is already just almost enough dirt for you) and deeper sound right out of the guitar then you'll like HSS. If you want your bridge to do the quack thing like a similar tele bridge then get the SSS classic. Most multi effect boxes can make a single sound like a humbucker. And you can set two singles to buck hum too.

Mainly you can return it for 30-days for any reason. Such as damage or you just changed your mind. So don't listen to the naysayers. It's practically equal to a good Squire. Not really better or worse. And it's about 95% of a $5000 classic strat. Light too; which is better for long gigs. Nothing wrong with basswood or the ceramic pickups, or the electronics; no matter some (nay) say.

Research first. Always.

I would sand off the logo, think about painting the top optionally and maybe round off the head stock point with a carefully matched pattern penciled on. But I haven't bothered to change the shape.

You can get other colors and style differences for this price total, at different places; but you may not find this return policy and from a reputable company likely to really back it up for you. And you may get more quality variation. Meaning unfix-able broken things, not easy fixes.

If you want 100% baby sitting then go to a store; but it will cost more.

$76 But not for long.
