I magically found this deal by mistake two hours ago before I came on here when I was looking for a game to play with my 7y/o. I've seen a few recommendations that this is super kid friendly and designed around co-op. And there are few games I have been as obsessed with as Super Mario 64 and emulators aren't as good as buying the cart for the n64 and the cart is expensive second-hand.

As an aside, who else remembers the music from Dire Dire Docks?

I don't think first party Nintendo games, especially Mario, drop below $40. You're likely to never see this go below $35-$40, ever, or at least until the Switch's successor is released.
And then when Switch gets prematurely discontinued, used copies jump to $80 Wink

Great game. At first I wasn't too big on it and preferred New Super Mario Bros but this one really grew on me. Hope they do a sequel.

You mean the 2D one on the Switch? Yes, this is 3D and it is a lot easier to move around without messing with each other and dying all the time.

Well we've seen some first-party Switch games go for $27-$30 during Black Friday before, albeit older titles. This game did come out early in 2021 so it's anyone guess as to whether it could join the ranks this time around.

Weird, I'm on earth.
Didn't mean any offense. I really thought I could get both for $40.
I didn't think you meant any direct offense, just thought you were being a grammar Nazi. I apologize as I misunderstood your intent.

One per month. But DK 64 is not on the list of the games that are coming soon - the list above is actually exhaustive, at least up to mid-2023. They will probably announce new games after that.

Yikes, I'm going to disagree with that one. My little ones (7 & 4.5) struggle a lot with this. The camera takes focus of one person at random if they start running ahead/behind.

YMMV, obviously! Your wife & kid may not have the struggles I'm experiencing but the game isn't as fun. If you have a way to try this out with them (check your local library!), I'd say that's the way to go before you spend the cash... I'd expect this to go on sale again between now & xmas.
