Be careful as sometimes they send Asian-fit glasses and you have to pay for shipping both ways to fix their mistake.

These seem to be good prices, but veterans, first responders, and federal government employees... Oakley SI has as good or better prices all the time. I've bought more glasses than I ever should with zero issues.

Also, the Oakley gascans I just got are made in Italy, not USA. I'm cool with that, but the little red USA thing on the earpiece actually reads 'USA Designed'. The other earpiece reads 'Made in Italy'.

That's Luxottica, they gradually start cutting quality on any brand they acquire. They seem to have kept up the QC on Persol, but compare domestic Raybans to the ones under their ownership and it's striking the difference in materials and quality.

Are Italian made sunglasses really going to be so much worse quality than USA made?

As for Luxottica, that's another issue entirely. I've avoided them til these low prices on Oakley's to compare to non-luxottica glasses I have. No firm conclusions yet.
