I got a refurbished iPhone Xr last spring from TF. It didn't unlock after 60 days, I was told that the device was initially activated before 11/23/2021. For devices activated prior to that date the minimum service requirement is 1 year. could not get Cr to budge. In June I traded it (still locked to TF) in for $700 off iPhone 13 Pro max on ATT at Costco without any issues.
Battery health was 100%
Some people mention a bad replacement screen on reconditioned TF iPhones - I didn't notice any issues with screen.
In August I got another reconditioned XR with $50 off promo (6000 TF rewards points) primarily as a backup for kids when they will eventually break their iPhones. The screen felt a little laggy on that one, not sure if this is due to replacement screen. Battery health still 100%

On a side note, these guys are some clowns. They sent used 1A used wall chargers with USB-A input but included a USB-C to lightning cable. Huh?

Just got a TracFone iphone XR and straight talk iphone 11 in the mail today. Both iPhone model numbers are unique to TracFone and straight talk and not listed as the same as Verizon or unlocked for a pixel 7 trade in from Best Buy. I have several pixel 7s preordered. One for pick up tomorrow. Trade in at store seems less risky than mailing it in.

Is the pixel 7 even worth it for $350? Seems like a very basic phone with last year's processor

New SOC. Much better battery management without overheating issues. Vastly improved video recording and photo de-blur.

Supposedly better fingerprint scanning. I'm waiting for more evidence on this.

Ill be trading in my pixel 6 for sure, but my 6 pro is barely getting good trade in values so I'll keep it. M. Maybe next September it will get good deals on the 8 pro? Lol

I'll say hold on for more usage. P6 launched with all glory and one year into it still issues are not resolved. Google is bumping trade in value just so we can test their hardware again lol.

If u want to factor in the 100$ bestbuy gift card, it's closer to $250, all in. I'm also counting Xr cost, trade in value, and base pixel 7

Droid life has a great unboxing video and the fingerprint reader looks much better.

no confirmation email or tracking number but got phone with sim card in it.
It showed some bars when I powered on but lost it by the time I setup the phone.
Now it says call carrier to activate?
Should I wipe the phone and start again?
the website has an activate window. can i use that?
