My local walmart shows availability as "unknown" on brickseek. Anyone have an idea of what that means?
Same for me. I'm assuming it means it's likely out of stock, I've gotten to Walmart on deals like this and unknown usually meant out of stock. But for this price potentially worth checking if it's not too out of the way.
I'm seeing deals as low as $100 near me but no idea if there is any stock.
I have an 800 and I love it. The charcoal taste is pretty great and it's kept really consistent temps for me.
If you can get this cheap grab it and buy some of the mods, like the fire box mod and the drip guard mod.
I bought a damaged one that was missing the bars to slide in the box. Ordered some from masterbuilt and they seem to be about a quarter inch from sealing up the box. This causes my charcoal to burn up after I've shut it down. Is the fire box mod something to stop that?

There are many Facebook groups with these grills, join one and it's a wealth of information 😉 the slides are two different size a larger one and a smaller one. check to see if your slide are the same or different.

BrickSeek has been rough for the past few weeks. For about a week it was down completely and since it's been back up I haven't been able to see actual stock numbers for anything. I've just seen "limited stock" or "out of stock."
So limited could be the only hope that they MIGHT have it since we can't see any stock numbers anymore.
For awhile Walmart brickseek was broke. They would display a message that that they were working on the issue. I dont see that message anymore. I get "no results found". I guess its gone for me. Not sure how reliable walmart brickseek is anymore

I wouldn't trust that it "usually" means out of stock. You really never know. I've had my eye on a 28" blackstone for nearly 2 months. Brickseek has said unknown quantity. There are 6 on the shelf. Same with the 1 36" and 2 of a different 28" model.
And now this makes another. I know I've seen at least 2 of these in the shelf and yet again, brickseek says unknown.
Brickseek has showed $347 low stock on a store near me but I was eyeing blackstone pellet xl for $150 but can't decide until disappeared from shelf. So I decided to get this. When I got to the store there are pallets of this and the pellets grill that I want and some other grills including a big ass one for $200 per walamrt app. It turned out somebody bought it all and he was just paying, manager was there. Fortunately found one but still at $347, maybe the guy didn't see it, when I asked for assistance to take to the cashier another manager came and ask if I want it and I said yes, he checked the price and talked to another manager. Then he told me I can have it for $200. I was very happy. Checking brickseek after the store doesn't show up anymore.
I got one from Costco recently for $400 and price adjusted to $300. Super happy with it. It really does heat up very quickly. You get the best of both worlds in terms of being able to slow cook/smoke (like with a wood pellet grill) and quickly grill (like with a gas grill). But you also get the added flavor of charcoal when you grill/smoke, which you don't get with a gas grill. Clean-up is basically zero besides adding more charcoal and occasionally emptying the tray of ashes.

Great deal if you can find it. Great deal at $350 with the included griddle. Walmart offers grill assembly which is pretty cheap per hour, but if you assemble yourself you'll learn the grill better and be better able to use and keep it up.
